It’s a sock, it’s a tight, it’s a Bootight!

Here’s one of those wish-you-would-have-thought-of-it ideas that is just too simple and clever for words. An idea that emerged out of pure necessity, Bootights are the perfect accessory for every shoe girl, especially in this upcoming boot-trendy fashion season.

Bootights began when founder, Shelby Mason, embarrassed during the routine removal of her boots in a security line at the airport, had an Ah-ha moment that would change the face of hosiery forever!

Bootights are a tight and sock all rolled into one nifty and uniform hosiery product. They are the first of its kind to be made exclusively for use with boots. Bootights are fantastic! Both the tight and sock portions are equally high quality. The premium tights are soft, smooth, and comfy with a form-fitting and contoured control top. They may be the best quality tight we’ve worn to date. The performance sock is made of 63 percent COOLMAX technology with cushioned toe and heel and a breathable mesh top. These socks challenge the comfort of some of our favorite athletic sock brands; the ones we wear to run miles in every day.

We must admit that we were skeptics at first. Wearing a sock over our tights to increase comfort and warmth in the winter never seemed like such a big deal, until we started thinking about all the tights we’d ruined over the years due to frustrating snags and zipper-rub or how tight and uncomfortable a boot would feel once we’d gotten all our layers on and tried to squeeze them into the shoe. It’s simple genius, really. No more borrowed white tube socks layered over black tights, no more runs and snags, no more losing feeling in your toes. Bootights brings fashion and function to a whole new level.

The only downside is that these will not work with shorties, booties, and some mid-high ankle boots. They’re available in a mid-calf and ankle height, but as you can see from the pictures, the sock portion on the ankle-high Bootights show when worn with booties. We expect that Bootights will be creating more height and colorway options soon, though (hint, hint), and we’ll be first in line for all of them.
