Both Reebok and Skechers stepped up there game during the Super Bowl earlier this month and with a growing interest in their toning equipped balance ball shoe technology, it couldn’t have been better timing. Reebok skipped the million dollar commercails and opted for face-to-face marketing, parking a yacht at Ft. Lauderdale Marina Hilton to allow the media to get a look at ZigTech training shoes (the shoes will launch on March 11th). Skechers grabbed some airtime with two 15-second ads during the broadcast of the big game, featuring football star Joe Montana. Expect to see continued marketing from both brands whose breakout EasyTone Reeinspire and SHAPE-UPS brands made big waves in 2009.
