This weekend, shoedish was taken aback when we spotted a wall display the size of an olympic-size swimming pool covered in articles of hot pink clothing. Everything from sequined mini skirts to casual tank tops were on display. It was as if we’d walked into the dressing rooms of the cast of Legally Blonde; pink projectile vomit. What’s strange is that hot pink isn’t the color of the season. Was it all just a really bad dream? Okay, so hot pink isn’t all bad, but this season you can skip the hot neon bath circa 1980s and opt for a more mellow shade of pink. Hot pinks muted kid sister is making pink a much more wearable color, no matter the nostalgic undertones, your age, or skin tone. Try one of these classic pinks for fall and see where the outfit takes you.
Just a little flush for your feet. The Caryssa - Blush platform pumps from Jessica Simpson are available at Heels.com.
Even trendy booties, like these Betsey Johnson Niles come in this seasons baby pinks.
Even toning footwear has jumped aboard the baby pink - flamingo in this case - trend. Try the FitFlop Women’s Walkstar 3 Thong Sandal to trendify your commute.
Not your grandma’s rose colored glasses. Sudoku Sandal - Rose from Chinese Laundry.
