Heelys introduces a two-wheel style to the US market. Starting next month, Heelys, the shoe/skate hybrid that allows wearers to roll by the use of a detachable wheel on the heel has a new set of wheels they’re set to unveil. The Hx2 has two wheels in each shoe, which makes riding easier for younger kids. It also requires less leg strength. The two-wheel versions of Heelys are already popular in Japan. In fact, last year’s sales surpassed 300,000 pairs. The Hx2, available in sizes 12 to 3, will retail for $55 at a wide range of retailers including Zappos.com.
