Last week, we introduced you to Ugg Australia’s new Jersey boot, so it was only a matter of time before we found a copycat stomping around out there. This knockoff is a dead ringer for the original casual boot from Ugg Australia, but is merely a fraction of the cost. We’re sure that the UGG Australia Lo Pro Boots with Drawstring
is higher in quality and comfort, but if you’re going simply for look and affordability, the Jersey Boot from Wet Seal is only $19.50.

You’ve probably noticed that shoes are getting more and more expensive these days. High-end designer shoes have gone from the $400 - $600 range to the $800 - $1,200 range and we couldn’t afford them when they were “cheaper”. Oy! The economy is killing our feet and seriously damaging the shoe dreams dancing through our heads. The Labor Department’s Consumer Price Index shows that footwear rose a seasonally adjusted 0.2% in October and advanced 3.1%. Women’s footwear has increased 2.2% in 12-month comparisons. We’d prefer the designer version in any case, but when it comes to getting that stiletto high, we’ll take whatever brand we can get. Can you tell the difference between these GUESS by Marciano Women’s Natalia Stappy Gladiator
for $167.95 and their designer counterpart from Balmain for $573.60?

And the designer shoe is…the shoe on the right is the coveted YSL Tribute bootie is sexy croc-print. The shoe on the left, a very good copy we might say, is the platform stiletto bootie from Bebe. Which sexy bootie would you buy?

Did you guess the designer shoe? The shoe on the right is the designer pair from Alexander McQueen, complete with signature skull zipper pulls. These hard knock rock ‘n’ roll biker peep-toe booties - the Alexander McQueen - 227122WACW6 (Black/Ancient Silver) - Footwear
- from the super star designer are available at Zappos.com and will run you a whopping $1.159. The pair on the left is from Steve Madden, of course. Leave it to Steve to create an almost identical knockoff of a designer shoe. Still, they won’t kill your bank account like the Alexander McQueen bootie. The Steve Madden pair - SERYNA BLACK LEATHER
are available for $129.95. Which pair would you buy?
