Chadwick’s is channeling the shoe Gods and creating masterful knockoffs of the coveted peep-toe diagonal-strap stiletto from last seasons Giuseppe Zanotti collection. This style was a favorite of many celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Tyra Banks and these affordable copycats from Chadwick’s cue in the suede style of the upcoming season to keep this version right on trend. Fall is bringing us closer to nature with all the yummy brights and these suede dress sandals are available in a slew of delicious fall colors. Very clever Chadwick’s; well done!

Here’s a great example of runway fashion taken to the streets. As you well know most runway styles must be reinterpreted to be successfully worn in the everyday and this reigns true for some shoe designs as well. The coveted woven Christian Dior platforms of seasons past have been reinterpreted several times since, but these gorgeous pumps from Pour la Victoire do it quite well. These bubble gum pink pumps are still funky and unique, but they can be worn with a slew of everyday styles unlike their massive platform predecessor. We’d take the Dior platforms over these any day, but in the event that we never have that chance, we’ll take the subtle knockoff instead.

Thanks to The Shoe Dish reader, Sandy, for pointing out these pretty Louboutin look-a-likes from the fall collection at Payless. Has shoedish mentioned how much we love Payless? These pretty side cut-out peep-toes are channeling one of shoedish’s favorite designer shoe styles this season - we mentioned just last week - from that high street designer with the famous red bottomed shoes. We covet the Louboutin, but until we reach that fantasy we’ll settle for pretty knockoffs like these. These sweet champagne stilettos almost fill that designer shoe void that keeps us up at night. Complete with metallic gold piping and a 3-inch heel these shoes will make your feet just as splendidly fancy whether you’re strutting across a hometown dance floor, New York City restaurant, or the Emmy Awards themselves.

Shoedish got a little green in the face this morning. Not that we’re apologizing for the overload of the shades of green posts, but we did notice the burst of sunshine pushing its way off the page. Coincidence? I guess we’ll never know. These pretty triple-strap pumps are a change of green pace, though equally as fun, flirty, and bright. Is it just us or is Boutique 9 from Nine West trying to channel Dior? That was a rhetorical question, of course, because these shoes practically knocked Dior’s Jazz Club Collection in the head and stole their buttons. Still, it’s rather pretty and we’ll take the copycat for a mere fraction of the designer price…plus it’s purple, which is shoedish’s other favorite color. Looks like today is a day for the traditional color splash - red, green, and purple, oh my!

Just when we thought we were set to walk gracefully away from Betsey Johnson for a few days, we run into this!!! Oh, yeah, my shoe fiends, that’s BJ’s reinterpretation of the Dorothy’s famous ruby red slippers from The Wizard of Oz.“If Dorothy were living in the 21st century, what would she wear?” That’s exactly what The Wizard of Oz Ruby Slipper Collection wants to know and to celebrate The Wizard of Oz’s 70th Anniversary (in 2009), Warner Bros has teamed up with Swarovski to re-invent that iconic fantasy shoe. 19 designers - A. Testoni, Abaete, Alberta Ferretti, Betsey Johnson, Botkier, Christian Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Giuseppe Zanotti, Jimmy Choo, L.A.M.B, Lisa Pliner, Manolo Blahnik, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta, Roger Vivier, Sergio Rossi, Stuart Weitzman, Tibi, and Tuleh - will make up The Wizard of Oz Ruby Slipper Collection, which will be on display at Saks this September for New York Fashion Week. We can’t wait!!!

Well these are pretty hot! Shoedish found these while browsing the online store front of Electric Boutique to get ready for our upcoming foray in stripping (or, excuse us, exotic dancing) when we found these!!! Anyone else think these look awfully similar to those pretty Burberry platforms? Hmmm…who knew that EB carried designer knockoffs. These platform sandals are in line with the current uber platform trend that has been bringing what seems to be designer stripper shoes to the high street; think YSL ‘Tribute’ and the like. Not that we ever had a problem with stripper-like shoes, but we really were surprised to see these at a store that promotes such attire, because besides the platform, we think these look like every other shoe on the current women’s fashion market. Thoughts? We think we’ll be adding these to our ‘Want It’ list…and it keeps growing and growing…
