Here’s what happens when you cross the classic Jesus sandal with Lady Gaga or in laymen’s terms: glam rock’s answer to a menswear-inspired flat. All that’s missing here is a heel, yet somehow that just doesn’t matter. Perfect with cropped pants, sun dresses, and shorts, this is the perfect travel shoe, whether you’re walking through the back alleys of Mykonos, vacationing in, around, or near water, or traveling to some far off and exotic world. Featuring thin strips of metallic silver leather woven through a thin toe-bar and complete with a menswear-inspired lace-up and ballerina-flat ankle opening, these casual flats will carry you seamlessly from daydream to night fantasy. The Lady Stardust Sandals
are available at www.ModCloth.com

Here’s a funky little flat for your Flat Tuesday shoe role call. Shoedish thinks these are pretty. We’re not sure what it is, but we have a thing for the weave, in all it’s varied forms, but woven shoes are amongst our favorites…who would’ve guessed it? These woven square-toed flats from Rachel Roy are complete with a mixed-material weave made of PVC, fabric, and polyester woven together in an artfully abstract messy and mismatched pattern. If Picasso had designed shoes, these would have been his masterpiece. The Avila from Rachel Roy are available at RachelRoy.com
for $99.

‘Tis the day for flats and these pretty star-bedazzled flats from Gisueppe Zanotti have hit the ‘IT’ list. You likey? We likey! A cross between haute couture and a rudimentary class in home economics, these paint-by-numbers-inspired rhinestone embellished ballerina flats remind us of all those bedazzle-your-electronics websites for phones, iPods, and the like. We have no problem blinging your accessories and what better accessory to bedazzle and bling out than your shoes. $375 might be a bit pricey for a DIY-looking pair of casual flats, but we still like the idea. Not much of a DIYer? Well, if you can swing these, go for it! The Giuseppe Zanotti - I96216 (Nero) - Footwear
is available at zappos.com

The oxford shoe has been around for a loooooong time. A classic for business menswear, the oxford style has come in and out as a trend for women. Usually adorned with a heel, the past few seasons this menswear-inspired flat has been showing up in its classic flat form. What’s great about this style is that it looks great with just about everything, from dressing down a flirty dress to shabby-chic-ifying a cropped pant or skinny jean. We’ve seen a dozen color combinations and blocking patterns, but we’re quite fond of the simple basic from Wanted Shoes. The ‘Chap’ is a classic embossed style and is available for just $59.99.
