This style was a favorite of many celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Tyra Banks and these affordable copycats from Chadwick’s cue in the suede style of the upcoming season to keep this version right on trend. Shoedish has decided that there is a time and place for everything. Have you all been watching the Olympics? Well, shoedish is obsessed!! Who doesn’t love the Michael Phelps phenomenon, thinks poor Alicia Sacramone was robbed, and wonders how people get started in synchronized swimming…no, seriously! There we go, right off topic. Anyway, have you seen the new Crocs commercials that have accompanied the games? Okay, we’ll admit that they are quite clever (we’ve stuck one below for your viewing pleasure) but we’re still not completely convinced of this Crocs explosion. Crocs for everyday life? Maybe in you live in northern Maine. While traipsing through the woods yesterday, we began to think these might actually be a good investment. There is a reason they’re called the original boat shoe after all and the lakes and woods of the boonies call for a little Croc action. We still don’t think we’d wear them with our jeans…at least not in public.

The upcoming cold weather season has left its mark on designers spring 2009 runway collections and the color that has one over the masses is every shade of pink you can imagine. From romantic pastels to rock n’ roll fuchsia’s, pretty in pink will be ruling the post winter season. One designer whose jumping on the pink panther bandwagon is Bourne who we might add is becoming a superstar women’s fashion footwear designer. The British brand has launched three new feminine city collections to its comfort and sometimes granola-ish footwear company with City Chic, Sultry Summer, and Modern Romance. There’s only one word we have for these bow-vamped slingbacks from the newly branded style icons and that is pretty!!! Did you ever expect this from the brand? We know we didn’t. The ‘Peony’ from Bourne are city chic, sultry summer and modern romance all rolled into one!
