And the designer shoes are…
The shoe on the right is the Steve Madden Warrick
while the shoe on the left is the Snick Natural Leather
from Jeffrey Campbell. Which would you prefer?

It’s been awhile since we posted a designer shoe challenge, so we though it was time for another battle of the shoes. Which shoe would your prefer? One of these trendy cloggers is from a coveted celebrity designer, while the other is a simple knockoff. Can you spy, with your little eye?

I have always considered myself clued into the fashion game and even as I’ve gotten older I’ve managed to keep up with the constant rotation of trends, but for the first time in years I feel completely lost, especially when it comes to shoes. There’s just so much and it all seems rather bizarre. I swear if I see another 4-inch platform pump disguised as a “sophisticated” office shoe, I’m going to shoot myself. I get it. I honestly get it, but I am a 37-year old woman and stiletto platforms are not only difficult to spend an 8-hour day in, they’re inappropriate for my age. Isn’t there a happy medium out there? I crave unique shoes, but can’t a shoe be cool without falling down a rabbit hole or attaching itself to a 7-inch heel? All I want is a great pair of dress heels to wear with jeans to a bar on a Friday night.
We understand how difficult it can be to find the right, age-appropriate, and fashion savvy shoes. While this question could have a million flavors, we’re going to go with “unique” as the key word and show you these great MOD-inspired heels from Marc Jacobs. If you’re ever in need of a unique pair of heels, MJ has you covered. These high heels from Marc Jacobs are a very basic sandal made spectacular with a few key details. A modest heel and slingback make them comfortable, while the color, patent, and vamp embellishment keep them very cool. The best part is they’re as evergreen as your basic black pump and they’ll look hot paired with your favorite blues and a tank top. Available at yoox.com

We all know how much celebrities love their Stuart Weitzman. Carrie Underwood has worn her fave Weitzman shoes for just about everything from rocking out in concert to strutting her stuff down the red carpets, but it was last weekend that she truly showed her love for the designer when she wore a pair of Swarovski-embellished platform slingbacks for her very own wedding to hockey player, Mike Fisher. The star wore a gorgeous pair of white satin peep-toe double platform AVALON sling-back pumps adorned with pink Swarovski crystals to compliment a Monique Lhuillier bridal gown. And if that weren’t enough, she wore plata satin peep-toe double platform AVALON sling-back pumps adorned with clear Swarovski crystals to compliment a short Monique Lhuillier cocktail dress during her reception. The Stuart Weitzman Bridal - Avalon (White Satin) - Footwear
is available at Zappos.com
, 6pm.com
, and Piperlime
, among other sites. It is also available in silver and black glitter, as well as a golden python.
