Now that we’ve told you what styles to be looking out for this fall shoe season, we’re here to break it down just a little bit more. For the next few days we’ll bring you some of our favorites from the shoe trends list, from cutouts and clogs to OTK boots and military-inspired. We’ll start this week off with some of our favorite goods from the flannel trend. Here’s a great start for fall; a material that not only looks cool, unique, and uber trendy, but is seasonally appropriate as well, which isn’t always the case when it comes to trends. Here are some for our favorite from the flannel footwear department.

Cute, simple, feminine, and casual flats from Kate Spade - Nicolina (Grey Flannel) - Footwear
.

This flannel peep-toe wedge from Christian Louboutin is the perfect transitional footwear from summer to fall.

Steve Madden does flannel platform-style with the CARYSSA GREY FLANNEL
.

Tory Burch’s famous casual flat design - the Serena Ballerina flat - in all its flannel glory.

Stuart Weitzman - Unibuckle (Gray Flannel) - Footwear
does flannel in an office casual pump.

What would a flannel trend be without a knee-high boot version, like the Blowfish - Hottem (Grey Two-Tone Flannel) - Footwear
.

Stiletto stoned and pump drunk for these…

sexy peep-toe mule booties from Miss Sixty. These white suede cuffed slides aren’t really booties at all, though there overall design might have you thinking so. The cuff of the shaft, however, overlays the vamp and heel enough that it gives you that heel-revealing mule look that is a much coveted and sough-after style this coming fall season. A modifed bootie and a mule with a twist; what more could you ask for in a new shoe? The MISS SIXTY - Avi (Ice) - Footwear
is your perfect match for fall.

Dolce Vita footwear has fast become one of our favorite brands and their most recent summer collection, filled with aggressive gladiator styles and cut-out booties in our favorite mini wedge styles, has cemented our love for the brand. These DV by Dolce Vita Women’s Carly High Heel Sandals
are just another example of a perfectly re-imagined style from the young and restless Dolce Vita. This birdcage style dress heel is complete with studded details and lacing, while sleek slits finish off the sexy look. A rear zipper finalizes the sexy look.

This weekend, shoedish was taken aback when we spotted a wall display the size of an olympic-size swimming pool covered in articles of hot pink clothing. Everything from sequined mini skirts to casual tank tops were on display. It was as if we’d walked into the dressing rooms of the cast of Legally Blonde; pink projectile vomit. What’s strange is that hot pink isn’t the color of the season. Was it all just a really bad dream? Okay, so hot pink isn’t all bad, but this season you can skip the hot neon bath circa 1980s and opt for a more mellow shade of pink. Hot pinks muted kid sister is making pink a much more wearable color, no matter the nostalgic undertones, your age, or skin tone. Try one of these classic pinks for fall and see where the outfit takes you.

Just a little flush for your feet. The Caryssa - Blush
platform pumps from Jessica Simpson are available at Heels.com.

Even trendy booties, like these Betsey Johnson Niles
come in this seasons baby pinks.

Even toning footwear has jumped aboard the baby pink - flamingo in this case - trend. Try the FitFlop Women’s Walkstar 3 Thong Sandal
to trendify your commute.

Not your grandma’s rose colored glasses. Sudoku Sandal - Rose
from Chinese Laundry.

Boat shoes and pink shoes, the perfect combination. Sperry Top-Sider Women’s Angelfish Boat Shoe
from Endless.com.

Cole Haan - Air Elly Criss Cross (Crystal Pink Patent/Cork) - Footwear
. Simple, sweet, delicate, and feminine; all the things you expect from baby pink.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything from Steve Madden. Not that we have anything against the brand, except the obvious, but Steve Madden has been a hit and miss lately. We had grown bored, weary, and tired of the brand, until we spotted the VAALEY
. They remind us of Robin Hood, a peaceful protest, and 1970s vintage all rolled into one shoe - just your basic anti-establishment-inspired platform with the perfect amount of hobo to make them uniquely chic. A stacked wood heel is complete with denim-looking canvas and embellished with a decorative wrap that criss-crosses the vamp. Perfect with boyfriend, skinny, and legging jeans, among other trendy getups of the season. The
VAALEY
is available at Steve Madden.
